The Falls of the Ohio State Park staff invited Volunteer At Heart participants to celebrate 2018 accomplishments on March 14, 2019. A total of 26 volunteers gave at least 40 hours of their time last year leading tours, hikes, bird viewings, school labs, gardening and so much more!! Volunteer of the Year for 2018 was Carol Woodling…she interacted with 1,806 guests and was also recognized for completing an accumulative 400 hours. The Richard Lyon’s Award for a first year volunteer was awarded to Bill Stayton who keeps up several gardens. The first annual Karen Maag Award for Positive Attitude was awarded to Stan Dunn.
