Trees & Shrubs at the Falls

Participants will hike around the park from the Woodland Trail to the habitat near the McAlpine dam and learn how to identify native and invasive species of trees and shrubs. The uses of various trees will also be discussed.
Naturalist at Heart volunteer Randy Moser, a retired forester, will lead this volunteer training program that is open to the public. Free to participate! Meet in the picnic area. Hike is not rugged, but dress for the weather.
