The Color of Minerals- Family Nature Club

Why are minerals different colors? What causes them to be colors they are? Learn about the most common minerals in our area so that you can look for them in your yard or on your next hike. Program is designed for kids and is free with $2 parking fee per vehicle. Until the pandemic rules change, meet in the picnic area unless there is inclement weather and then the Interpretive Center Rotunda will be used. Masks are required as is social distancing.
