History & Geography at the Falls of the Ohio

Long-time Naturalist at Heart volunteer Paul Olliges will cover the geography and history of the Falls of the Ohio from the 1700s to today. The program will range from the shape of the overall drainage basin to the history of the area before/after European settlement. He will cover points of interest including the locks, dam, hydroelectric plant, and river dynamics including flood levels. The volunteer training class is open to the public with regular Interpretive Center admission. Masks required for this indoor presentation.
