Hike with the Paleontologist

While the Interpretive Center is closed for renovations, the monthly “Meet the Paleontologist” shifts to a fossil bed hike.  Alan Goldstein, the park paleontologist, will guide visitors down on the fossil beds to look at fossils that aren’t easy to find.  He will explain how these creatures lived and died and how they compare to similiar creatures in the ocean today.  Meet on the deck and wear closed shoes appropriate for walking on the uneven rocks.
