Nothing is more mysterious than a geode. It’s a spherical rock that is ugly on the outside but is often filled with sparkling crystals on the inside. What is a geode? How do geodes form? Dale Brown will bring geodes from his collection that will amaze you and answer these and other questions. Look at the temporary exhibit of geodes on Indiana and Kentucky in the Interpretive Center River Room. Free program in the rotunda.
