The Falls of the Ohio State Park is seeking new volunteers. We will provide resources to help you give back to your community. Volunteers can help us improve the visitor experience through programs & special events, educational & adult groups, gardening & grounds beautification, behind the scenes activities, and more. We accommodate volunteer requirements and interests during the pandemic.

Orientations are set for July 8th and 11th, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. to learn more about the Naturalist at Heart volunteer program. Social distancing is easy in our expansive auditorium. For those unable to attend, individual orientations can be scheduled.

Established in 2004, the Naturalist at Heart program is geared toward enthusiastic goal-oriented individuals with opportunities for growth through levels of certification. We provide free weekly classes connecting to the natural and cultural history of the Falls of the Ohio area throughout the year.

Further details about the volunteer program can be found at: https://www.fallsoftheohio.org/volunteer/

To participate in our program or if you have additional questions, contact Alan Goldstein, Interpretive Naturalist: agoldstein@dnr.in.gov or 812-280-9970.
