2020 First Day Hike

Kick off 2020 with a little exercise and exploration on New Year’s Day! Hike along the upper fossil beds and learn about Devonian sea life, plants and animals that live along the river’s edge. Bring binoculars to look for winter birds. Building will be open a few minutes before and after the hike for access to restrooms and water fountains, otherwise, the Interpretive Center is closed on January 1. Inclement weather will cancel the program. $2 parking fee applies, but the the program is free.
