The state park features an architecturally intriguing Interpretive Center that reflects the layers of history at the Falls of the Ohio.
If you are an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy nature exploration, the Falls of the Ohio State Park is for you!
Come discover 390 million years of history from the Devonian sea creatures to life at the Falls today!
Children will learn about the shelled relatives of squid and octopus – the nautiloids and ammonites using real fossils and models. They will create a model of a “living” Ordovician cephalopod and decorate it. One hour program meets in the Interpretive Center.
Interpretive Center admission is not required. $2 program fee paid at admissions desk. $2 parking fee, exempt with a 2018 Indiana State Parks Entrance Pass. Program free for Falls of the Ohio Foundation members.
