Family Nature Club – Butterflies!

A variety of raised native butterflies will be brought in for viewing.  Kids can look at them up-close and learn about how they live. Art supplies to sketch butterflies will be provided. One hour program meets in picnic area behind Interpretive Center or in the building if it is very hot or raining.

Interpretive Center admission is not required. $2 program fee paid at admissions desk. $2 parking fee, exempt with a 2021 Indiana State Parks Entrance Pass. Program free for Falls of the Ohio Foundation members.

Family Nature Club was created in 2015 to encourage families with children age 4 to 12 to get outside with friends and do something fun! Make time to enjoy nature with good company. Activities are designed to promote thinking. Club activities last no more than one hour.

COVID-19

Hoosiers should follow posted restrictions and practice social distancing. Every individual within the State of Indiana shall wear a face covering over the nose and mouth when inside public buildings and in outdoor public spaces where it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing.
