Art at the Falls – Carve a Fossil in Soap

Bring an unopened package of bar soap (not white) and we’ll show you how to carve a fossil on one side. We will provide illustrations to help you select a fossil. Guided by naturalist and artist Mike Gibson. The park paleontologist will talk about observing detail and how body symmetry helps with fossil identification.
