Wood-like

 

Sometimes, rocks may look like as piece of petrified wood or a plant, but really is not. Petrified wood is often found in river or lake sediment deposits, less commonly in marine deposits. Occasionally it is found in-place (Petrified Forest or Florissant-type deposits).
