Archaeology

E. Y. Guernsey Collection

In the 1930s, E. Y. Guernsey did archaeological digs in "Old Clarksville." In 196, Donald E. Janzen did additional investigations. Today, this site no longer exists as a result of erosion by the Ohio River. These specimens belong to the Glenn Black Lab at Indiana University in Bloomington, but are occasionally displayed at the Interpretive Center.
