       Red Sage blooms spring through autumn.        This purple sage blooms in the summer.

Another purple sage, less common than "May Night," with Native Columbine.    Salvia with a small green bee.

     This soapwart is a beautiful ground cover.          Pincushion flower is have light blue-violet flowers elevated on stalks.

      Blue-eyed grass is a native plant in the iris family!      Goldenrod is a fall favorite - its sticky pollen does not cause allergies! That's ragweed!

An old-time herb, it has fuzzy leaves and is ideal for a deer-resistant flower bed.

  Lamb's Ears, Stachys byzantina

 Less well-known than its Virginia cousin, has reddish-purple flowers.      A common wideflower of eastern woods and meadows.

An interesting fall-bloomer, it is not as well known as other fall flowers.    Close-up showing pinkish-purple speckles on small lily-shaped flowers.

A compact version of an otherwise tall and somewhat gangly flower.   A tall flower that is on the northern range of its zone. Attracts Gulf Fritillary butterflies.
