Evolution and Adaptation

Limit: 25 educators

This is a two day professional development in collaboration between the Falls of the Ohio State Park and Louisville Zoo. It is geared for teachers for grades 5 – 12.

$45 registration fee payable in advance by June 15

Checks should be made out to the Falls of the Ohio Foundation and sent to 201 West Riverside Dr., Clarksville, IN 47129, put 'E & A' in the memo field.

When you arrive...

Get a pay-to-park envelope, tear of the part for your dashboard and bring the envelope in to the receptionist. (No fee is necessary.)

Please check in at the reception desk in the lobby. We will meet in our library / classroom at the far end of the exhibit gallery. Instructions for meeting on day 2 will be provided on the first day.

What to wear...

We will be largely indoors, though a walk on the fossil beds and through a portion of the zoo is scheduled. We don't recommend open-toed shoes at the Falls.

 

Lunch...

You are welcome to brown bag it, but if you chose to go to a fast food establishment, please note that our lunch break is exactly one hour and we start on time!

If you cannot meet these requirements please consider another of our teacher workshops:

1.) If you teach below grade 5, the content will not be suitable for your curriculum.

2.) If you cannot make it on both days.

3.) If you do not teach science.
