Brochures Available
The park offers a number of free brochures. General interest brochures are helpful for planning a visit or basic information about the park and the fossil beds. Specialized brochures are available for visitors with a deeper interest in the subjects. Most are posted on our web site. Look for our interactive brochures under "Geology and Fossils" on our Discovery Center!

Discovering Fossils - illustrates the most common fossils on the upper and lower fossil beds
Highlights of the Interpretive Center - a map of our museum with general information about our facility
What is a Patch Reef? - interprets diorama in exhibit gallery and provides insight as to the nature of the geology of the fossil beds
Are Fossils Important? - examines the "value" of fossils and lists places to get fossils identified
River Pebbles - focuses on the origin of the glacial and river pebbles along the banks of the Ohio River.
